Who I Am

My name is Dennis Rogers, and I am a lifelong resident of Florida, spending that time between Pinellas and Pasco counties.
Married for almost twenty-seven years to a wonderful woman who did not know she was better off twenty-eight years ago!
We have two daughters who are the loves of my life.
My many interests are, and have always been, focused on the outdoors where I have spent many wonderful hours fishing, hunting and camping.
My other interests (besides my family) include football, politics, The Bible (and the previous two should never be included in the same conversation) and our friends.
The enjoyment of hunting led to my desire to learn more about firearms, which has focused on the types of and the calibers. That last part, calibers, has shown to be my true interest that in-turn lead to reloading my own ammunition because of it’s inability to be expensive and it’s ability to sometimes improve on the performance of the particular handgun or rifle the ammunition is used in.

The organizations that have the privilege of my membership are few because I am very cautious to whom I give my hard earned dollars and scarce free time to. Besides, I have found through personal experience, that most do little good and are disorganized.
My memberships are to the following organizations:
The NRA as a Life Member, and NRA Certified Instructor.
The Republican Party (there’s a surprise).
A local church, non-denominational and bible teaching for twenty years.
